Our thoughts, His plans

As I was reading the Daily Bread this morning, it was discussing how interruptions can be used for a purpose of God that we always cannot see. I often think while Ryan is on a mission that, "why can't our lives just be like everyone elses?" But looking back at the last three years there are things that have come across our paths where we were able to help other people through tough times because of where we are today. There have also been countless things that I have been able to do because Ryan isn't here. I know that sounds a little weird but like taking care of two doggies comes to mind. Ryan would not have been too keen on watching two small dogs for a friend of ours. But because I wanted to help this person out it worked out that I was able to do so.

I am not sure if any of this is making sense but one thing that I do know is that our plans are not always what is best for us. This time last year Ryan took a job with another company and a few months later he wasn't sure if he had made the best decision. Now they are offering him training that we thought wasn't ever going to happen. It is just amazing how God works all of the details out before we even take the first step of faith. I just am in love with the fact that God wants to take care of us, use US for His glory, and calls us sons and daughters.
